Fiery Finale

As hard as I tried, I couldn't get a single sky shot to come out today. All I could get was the same shade of gray everywhere I looked. What to do?? Dig back about two weeks and show you a sunset that just made you pull over and watch. This SkyWatch Friday photo was taken just slightly north of Olympia near Nisqually. Have a wonderful weekend everyone, and.....

  1. I think my hubby saw the same sunset as this. Two weeks ago he was in Anacortes and took shots of the most fiery skies I've ever seen - just like these. Nice alternative to gray skies!

  2. Don't we just have the best sunsets out here. I suppose everyone says that----but maybe not. MB

  3. Nice golden sky. The trees look like they are huddled together for a chat.

This morning we're staring at wet gray skies. A far cry from this photo.

  7. Way better than gray any day. Nicely done and a pick-me-up today. You know what I mean as we share the same chunk of sky.

  13. OH MY GOSH! I am STOKED to have found your site! I have been following the Boise Daily Photo blog for awhile...and do not even remember how I found her. It just occurred to me to look for an Olympia blog...and here you are! My husband and I lived there, got married there, went to school there, had our first child there...and sadly...left over 10 years ago. WE miss it like crazy.... SO glad to be able to visit through your blog! Jill
