Trillium is a great name and the threefold symmetry is really rather pleasing.
Aren't they just the sweetest woodland flower. I love finding them also. MB
A new one for me. So tiny and delicate.
I've read the word but had never seen the flower until now. Thanks!
This is one of the forests beautiful gems. The three-petal structure is intriguing, for sure!
How pretty! I don't think I've ever seen them before.
Unusual and unbeknownst to me...very beautiful flower. And they grow wild? Amazing. You'll have to show us a yellow one if you should happen upon such!
Fine foto!
Hey, MB knows what I'm talking about!
I'm glad we were able to show the rest of you something new.
Jacob: If I find a yellow one I'll do just that.
I've never seen a yellow one, but Trillium grandiflorum (a big white version) is Ontario's provincial flower. They bloom profusely in April here.
