A close up view of the Pacific Ocean waves coming in at Westport taken this past weekend. We are so fortunate for the extended summer we're having. These suds are our contribution to Watery Wednesday.

excellent photos. Great angle and texture and you captured it in such an interesting manner. Thanks for your comments on my website regarding the slot canyon photos. I am glad you are enjoying them. Also I liked your Chihuly yesterday. very creative.
ReplyDeleteThat's a neat shot. Angles are everything aren't they. MB
ReplyDeleteI'm not going to go wild again like I did yesterday on Astoria DP but this photo has the same effect on me... Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suds. I can almost feel the refreshing salty sea air from here.
ReplyDeleteCool angle, I love the suds. Perfect photo for watery Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteMy immediate impression was in a plane moving into a cloud formation and then I realized it was water -- foam at the edge. Amazing how easy it is to trick my mind.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have many birds this summer but this one you saw is a nice example.
Thanks for helping me to make history.

Fantastic and lovely shot !!Unseen Rajasthan
ReplyDeleteJust excellent D & K! Did you slow down the shutter speed or did it just come out that way?
ReplyDeleteWonderful angle on that shot! I hope your camera got out of the way!
ReplyDeleteMakes me want to just sit down and meditate.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me the few times I've been on a beach without a living soul around for miles. Bliss.
Fun and refreshing! I'd love to sit down in the water and just let the surf wash over me.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! :-)
ReplyDeleteJulie: Thank you, and your photos of the canyon deserve all the applause we can give. They are beautiful.
Small City: You bet they are.
ciel: Darn, we wanted to see you go wild.
Jacob: I just set it on "program" and let it do it's thing. Again, I'd rather be lucky than good any day. Thanks Jacob!
Lois: The reflexes are still there. The camera is dry.
Rob & Hilda: We let our seven year old do the sitting. It was a beautiful day though.
Cool perspective! Looks like the view a small dog would have!!
