If ever there was a time where picking a photo to post made me sweat bullets this was the time. I'm sure you can see my dilemma. The theme is Best Photo of 2009. Now, looking at the two photos above you tell me, how do you pick between your two girls? Both of these shots were taken this past September at Westport, Washington. This is where my wife and I had taken our honeymoon in March of 2008, but this was the first time the girls had been to there with us. We had an absolutely wonderful day filled with kite flying, running on the beach with our two dogs and when we were done playing we headed over to our favorite restaurant and all had a delicious meal before calling it a day and heading for home. Did I break the rules by posting more than one photo? Maybe, but hey do you blame me?

Perfect!!! You have two girls so of course you have to post two pictures and they both can be the best photo of 2009. Just because!!
ReplyDeleteand by the way they both are super shots. MB
These are also memories and those will last when the girls are great grandmas.
ReplyDeleteNo one came blame you at all. I can only imagine the howl of the other if only one was chosen. ;)
ReplyDeleteA loving and sweet choice, and the photos themselves are just wonderful!
Had the same problem, believe me, took me 2 weeks to decide on one, and then I changed my mind at the last minute and posted something else.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, it was worth sweating those bullets of yours, I think the second one is your best! I remember my WOW when I first saw it.
Impossible to decide! The fact that the two photos are both fantastic shots, and that each of them is a daughter, well, photo of the year has to be a set of two!
ReplyDeleteI remember both of these and when I saw them first thought they were extra special! Great choice(s)! Great shots!
ReplyDeleteYou did the perfect thing not choosing!
ReplyDeletewell, aside from being tough to choose between your girls, it must've also been tough because they're both excellent photos! i love the sunset shadowy effect of the evening and the mid-air capture is equally good!
ReplyDeleteThis is the perfect solution to your dilemma, and they are both delightful. I loved your description of the day.
ReplyDeleteI'm still in trouble with my granddaughters for featuring one a couple more times than the other on my blog -:) Rock and a hard spot, if you ask me.
ReplyDeleteThat said, I prefer the acrobatic image. Very nice indeed!
Thank you all for your kind comments.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this mid-month theme day. It has been fun looking at the other entries and some of the reasons for posting a particular photo. Now it's time to start thinking about Februarys theme which is "wood."
Nope.
