Amongst the CDP bloggers the monthly theme for February is "Wood" and seeing as Washington is the evergreen state what else would I share besides some homegrown timber?

You really do have some lush growth in this photograph. I suppose the climate and location has everything to do with it. It is a look back at our forest primeval I guess. i wish we could all go back in time and walk across America to see what it was really like before there were roads and we either followed streams or animal trails.
Perfect for the theme. I posted some mossy green 'wood' too. MB
ReplyDeleteI've seen a lot of ferns growing out of trunks, but this is one of the most fantastic. You made a great find! Nice photo, too.

ReplyDeleteOh how I miss my evergreens! Love the moss and ferns, and the perspective is great- takes me right up to the tops of those trees!
