Remember, nothing says Independence Day like a polypropylene bird made in Taiwan sitting atop a dealership selling Swedish cars. All kidding aside, Happy 4th of July to everyone. I hope it has been a good one.
Very neat. The play on words and the image reminds me of history and how those who depend on others never seem to make it when times get tough. I do hope we make it and depend more on us than all of them.
The title of your post is hilarious and got my attention right away! We had a wonderful 4th of July here and for the first time I can remember in many years, there were no afternoon thunderstorms!
great eye to capture this one. The American way for sure. I am glad you enjoyed the photos on my site. Today I have an unique photo of Chihuly glass art that changes color at a certain time of the day based on the sun's rays.
You have to allow yourself to chuckle at things like this, after all it is the American way. Thanks everyone for your kind comments. We always appreciate everyone that stops by.
It just goes to show the interdependence of all countries and people and the benefits to all. Everyone wants the best deals on "stuff" regardless of where it's made. And if a little jingoism helps sell Swedish cars to Americans in Washington all the better, though it is funny and most will miss the irony.
Lol, I think he's cool though!
ReplyDeleteSwedish cars? I guess that must be a Koenigsegg then!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed the celebrations.
