For tonight's post I dug into the deep dark archives to pull this one out. Some time back I was on a bike ride on the Chehalis Western Trail. It was a pretty warm day, probably in the mid 80's. I stopped to take in some water and look around. When I looked up this is what I saw.
This is our first blog, a daily (whenever possible) photo blog of our state capitol and surrounding area. Most photos were taken by me, however my wife will sneak one in from time to time.
That's quite an amazing sky for the old archives!!
Incredible shot. My first thought as "northern lights"!
Very pretty sky. And it is still up there after all these years. LOL!!! MB
Looks like God has been painting again. This time white sweeps across the sky. Nice shot.
That's a painting, right? You're just trying to make us believe it's a photo! :-) Gorgeous.
Thank you all.I had forgot I even had that shot.
Jacob: How 'bout nortwestern??
MB: Yep, still ticking. :-)
Abe & ciel: I guess painting would be pretty accurate. I wish I could take credit for it.
That's beautiful and quite unusual. Thanks for digging! I also had to laugh at your Rapunzel comment. It seems we're all having fun with this one! :)
That's a stunning sky.
This was a great capture of those clouds.
I agree that it does look like a painting. That is a glorious shade of blue!
The clouds provided an amazing effect in that sky.
