I've Been Cubed!

Last night I eluded to the fact that I missed Monday's post. Here's the reason. My early Christmas present from my wonderful wife. A 2009 Nissan Cube. Laugh if you want to, but if you ever get the chance you really should drive one of these. It is a blast. Plenty of power, handles like a dream and enough room to comfortably fit our family of four.

  3. Be there or be square--oh no! You're not a rube if you got a Cube. LOL!!!
Pretty neat. Happy early christmas---you get nothing else.
How does it drive in the WIND? MB

  4. Outta sight! Fab! Cool! I love it. Y'all are a blessed couple, a blessed family.

About the cemetery on my blog, that was only a tidbit of it in the photo. It was huge. In fact, I think on a Google map, I noticed three right together. One of these days I'm gonna go walking in one, but not alone--too spooky.

  5. Nice little car. Your budget for christmas presents seems a bit bigger than I'm used to :)

  6. Wow, congratulations! It has such an odd and bizarre styling. More like a rolling piece of art than a mode of transportation.

  8. It's so cute! Almost as cute as your mom's new puppy. :)

What a great Christmas present! Have you decided what you're getting Krise?

I haven't seen any here yet. I hope they get brought in. It'll definitely bring a smile to my lips when I see them on the road.

  11. Congratulations! It's a very cute car. I've always wanted a car with a bow on it sitting in my driveway... are you listening, honey?

  15. Congratulations! What great fun. I think I saw one of these the other day. They aren't very prevalent yet...

Hey, but now I can say I know somebody who has one.

Sorry the Porsche didn't work out, but you'll enjoy this almost as much!

  16. Oh a new auto baby! Congrats on your bundle of joy. Does it handle well in (shall I say it?) snow, just in case?

  17. Thank you for the congrats everybody. I do greatly appreciate it.

    Rob: Oops.....too late. :-(

Small City: That's okay. I don't need anything else, and it actually is great in the wind.

    Lynette: I know I'm blessed.

Hilda: I'm not sure what I'm getting Krise yet. This is going to be hard to top.

cieldequimper: Yes, it's an automatic but a whole new type. It's called a CVT or continuously variable transmission. Basically it doesn't seem to shift. Takes a little getting used to, but I like how it performs and drives. Very smooth.

AB: The design caught my eye from the first time I saw it, and you're right. It is a blast to drive.

Jacob: Yeah, Porsche's are sooooo yesterday aren't they? You know if you happen to stroll into Olympia one of these days I'll put you behind the wheel.

Yep, my little buddy. I'm wondering how it's going to do also. It is front wheel drive so that's a start.
