Last night it poured and poured and poured. Today it was so nice I went out and washed the car. Late this afternoon I just couldn't pass up this SkyWatch Friday scene.

Excellent, excellent shot of the clouds. Hasn't the weather been weird. You had rain and we didn't--at least not Thursday and Friday was sunny and very nice. But the skies have been full of wild clouds. MB
OMG. May I use this as screensaver please? It's the best I've seen in a long time! There's some great reflection work here too, you should link it to James' blog. Have a wonderful weekend!
We were down to 27 degrees this morning. I went out, in my house slippers and plugged the water bowl in so the ice would thaw and the birds and squirrels would have fresh water to drink. The sun is out now and it might end up being a nice day but cold.
Small City Scenes: You are very correct MB! Around here if you don't like the weather just wait a bit.
cieldequimper: Thank you, and of course you can. If you'd like, I could provide you with a larger version, but for most screens I think this one will work.
Abraham Lincoln: I think it's going to be a while before we dip that low here. Be careful, the both of you. Don't go slipping on the ice.
Wow! That is so dramatically powerful! Fantastic skywatch sunset!
ReplyDeleteWonderful, truly wonderful. Thanks for getting the shot and for sharing it with us.
ReplyDeleteMama might make it home by Sunday--she's certainly better than she was yesterday at this time.

ReplyDeleteThat's quite a dramatic sky! We could use some skies like yours to liven up ours a bit! Happy Thanksgiving...
ReplyDeleteA really good sky shot. The contrast between light and shade is powerful and the reflection on the ground adds a great touch.
