For Watery Wednesday this was our view out the upper level of The Athenian restaurant while visiting Pike's Place Market in Seattle. A peaceful view while having lunch.

beautiful view and vantage point!
You picked the right restaurant for your lunch -:)
Super shot. I like to watch the ferry boats.
wish my pic of the Lincoln was clearer but what can I say.
If you saw the Missouri in '62 you must have been in diapers. LOL MB

Looks busy and peaceful at the same time.
You took great advantage of your Seattle trip. What a luncheon view! Some people would pay good money to have a view like this!
Nice shot D & K!
Chuck Pefley: Yes we did, but we may try your suggestion next trip.
Small City Scenes: I think I was about 5 or 6 at the time. I'll post one.
Jacob: Thank you much!
Seems like a very romantic kind of restaurant, eith such a great view
I believe I have about 150 photos of about the same view somewhere! ;-)
That is a nice scene for somebody who never sees water much less ships on water.
Nice view of the ferry, I have been on the one to Bainbridge Island. It was fun. Great shot!

cieldequimper: There's no limit to what you can photograph in Seattle is there?
Abraham Lincoln: What, no ocean front property in Ohio Abe?
eileeninmd: Thank you. One of these days I think we'll drive to Bremerton then take the ferry over to Seattle. That's a nice trip.
It must be fun to sit there and dine while watching the shipping traffic go by. The Puget Sound is a fascinating place! I like how you included a bit of the ferry building in the corner; it adds a bit of architectural detail which contrasts nicely which the marine scenes.
Linnea W: Thank you Linnea. I never get tired of going up there. We are very fortunate here in the NW.
Oh, nice. I've never been above ground level at Pike's Restaurant. I'll have to check this out someday.
tapirgal: You should do that, and say hello to Chuck while you're up there. Don't forget to look for us up there enjoying our lunch with a sandwich in one hand and a camera in the other.
