When visiting great examples of architecture there are so many photographic opportunities, you hardly know when to stop. This is just one of many that my wife spotted on a recent trip. Meanwhile protesters outside were doing their best to challenge the fact that there was a Christmas tree inside.
I am always interested in other state capitol buildings. Our legislature is in session right now and there seems to be a protest going on down there every day!
I've loved going through this building since I was a kid. Back in about 1962 or 1963, I,together with my family walked every metal step to the top of the dome. They stopped letting people go up there a number of years and a couple of earthquakes ago.
