Sometimes you find color in the most unlikely of places. While on a walk at Tumwater Falls Park, we spotted this little maple showing it's colors against a backdrop of gray concrete.
JM, thanks for stopping by. We appreciate it. The rest of you as well. Little did we know a couple of weeks ago when we started this blog that anyone would even care to look at our amateur pics, let alone comment on them. Everyone has been great and we look forward to crossing paths with many more good people of this community. :)
This is our first blog, a daily (whenever possible) photo blog of our state capitol and surrounding area. Most photos were taken by me, however my wife will sneak one in from time to time.
A keen eye finding beauty in small places. Well spotted
If you squint just a little, it looks like a very nice abstract painting.
Very pretty! It's amazing how life can grow in seemingly impossible places. I love it.
I thought it was a painting at first! It's lovely and the concrete almost looks blue!
Thanks to all. I'll post another photo later of this beautiful place. It's one of our favorite places locally.
Aww, let's hope it grows and grows!
This is my 1st visit to your blog and I really like what I see. Your shots are really cool!
