It's Starting

Sunday, January 31, 2010

For those of you that are kind enough to read this blog, whether daily or once in a while, you may remember that recently I told you Krise is pregnant and due in mid July. Today we went up north to Tacoma to have breakfast with my Mom and then do some shopping. Before heading back south to Olympia my wife wanted to make one more stop. This place is unbelievable. They don't just have one of everything, they have ten. It makes your head spin. We ended up leaving without buying anything, but I have the feeling I'm going to be back.

    Good luck! It's a consumer's world out there -:)

  2. It's a babies world out there---watch out!! LOL MB

Maybe this is where all your gifts will come from in the near future. I suspect this must be akin to the place out of business around here with the backward "R" and was "Toys R Us."

I have memories of that place with aisles to the roof stuffed with every toy Santa ever made and kids were screeching not to move out of the aisle with the monkey in it.

It is also a nice photo. I learned a lot from it and had no idea it was even there or existed. The name.

    Congratulations on the pregnancy.

Oh yes, you'll be back! Probably quite often! But it gets worse. Once you're past the "baby" stage, then, for the next 16 years or so you'll be spending a lot of time at Toys R Us!

Re: Cedar Key post. I must have been confused. I thought the sign said "groupie" fishing! Darn! I already put down a deposit, too.

And your comment made about as much sense as the one above!

    Have a great week!

It's mind blowing, isn't it? I made a visit when my daughter-in-law was pregnant, but as a general rule, I'm exempt. Congrats on the prospective baby!

  7. As far as I know, we've only got ToysRus, I didn't know this existed. Happy future shopping!

Oh yes, you definitely will! This has become one of my favorite stores since becoming a grandmother. You should be finding out the gender of the baby soon right? My daughter was due July 14 two years ago and I think we found out around mid-February. My granddaughter ended up being born 7 weeks early on May 30 due to my daughter's pre-eclampsia. Quite a surprise but she is doing great now!

It's almost scary in a way, consumerism from age zero. Start saving!

  10. It's a double edged sword isn't it? They do have just about everything you could ever want or need for your baby, but good grief you really can do with quite a bit less than most people buy.

  11. haidee: Thank you for stopping by and your kind comments.

You might as well enjoy the ride because you're on it anyway. Keep those pics a coming.
