Well, I'm posting this later than I had planned, but tonight was our oldest daughter's last high school concert of this school year. Each concert so far had really been good and tonight was no exception. My favorite was an old Tower of Power hit performed by the jazz band called "What is Hip?" What do you mean you don't remember it?
You're done for the year?! I'm so jealous. I have one more orchestra performance, one more choir performance and one more baseball game before I can close out the school year. But hey, I'm not keeping track.

I bet it was really good. I worked at an Elementary school for many years and it was amazing what the music teacher could pull out of the kids so by the time they were in high school they had to be excellent. Fun to watch and listen. MB

Oh, do I remember! I went several times to the Montreux Jazz Festival, 200 miles from my home then, but must have missed the Tower. Anyway, quite a feat for your daughter and friends to be able to do this one!!!
Gosh, sounds like you have your hands full: daughters on summer break, family visiting, Krise nearing the big day. But sounds like a lot of fun and so exciting too!
