This sunset & Mt Rainier brought to you by the crazy family that raced half way across Thurston County through winding roads to get to " just the right spot". With the fantastic weather we're having right now the sky has really been colorful.

Gorgeous. Though I do always think that electricity poles sometimes stand in the way.
The sky is always nice in your area or seems to be in the photos I have seen. This is a nice photograph. I am not sure I would prefer the power lines but they are everywhere nowadays and so much a part of the landscape that it would be difficult to find a scene without them.
I agree with you and I do the same thing. There are too many trees where I am so when I can tell the sunset is going to be gorgeous I have to race down the hill to a better vantage spot----Oh us crazy western washingtonians. and quit tell people how beautiful it is here----we're getting crowded already. LOL
super shot of THE mountain. MB
Isn't it fun to drive around trying to frame a scene just right. It always makes the prize that much more special. Good shot.
this is beautiful. very pretty.
I think this is one of my favorites! I love the colors and the snow on the mountains, beautiful!
Thanks everyone. And no speeding ticket. That's a plus! :)
