For this week's Floral Friday contribution I thought I would share with you this tower of poinsettia from the Seymour Conservatory in Tacoma.

  1. Quite amazing isn't it. Pointsettias are not my favorite plant---although they are quite beautiful. I spent too many years propagating them. Sticky fun. MB

  2. I think the tower looks nice but I am not a fan of the poinsettia as they hang around way too long after the holidays.

  3. Kate Says:

I have watched some worker-bees assembling these remarkable floral trees. They brighten up the atmosphere, don't they. Can't have Christmas without poinsettias!

  4. Jacob Says:

    That's impressive. I don't think I've ever seen a poinsettia "tower" before!

We have poinsettias in our back yard and they're coming nicely with the cooler weather.

It's freezing here! 50 degrees at 10 AM! In the 30s tonight! Ugh!

  5. Are you sure that's a tower? I'd call it a poinsettia tree!
Not my favourite flowers yet I would definitely love this in the garden I don't have!

  6. Hilda Says:

Now this is a wonderful and unusual Christmas tree! Love it!

  7. Rob Says:

    now that is pretty!

  8. Linnea W Says:

Now that's a tree! Lovely shade of red...until those petals - or leaves - start to drop!

  9. AB Says:

Poinsettias in Christmas tree shape - twice the festivity!

  10. tapirgal Says:

You're doing a wonderful job finding flowersin winter! And I love this tower :)

  11. Hilda Says:

Hey, where are you? I sure hope you're just on a holiday trip!

I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas, Don. Wishing you a joyful, peaceful and love-filled new year.

  12. gogouci Says:
