Cedar Meets Alien?

Yesterday I introduced you to The McLane Creek Nature Trail. Today I had to share this shot with you. This is the second local trail we've walked where there have been trees with these strange twisted roots. If you've been following along for a while you may remember this previous post.

    This looks similar to the ficus trees of south Florida or the cypress trees of central Florida. Weird and funky!
