SkyWatch Friday - Crisp Nights

Friday, December 4, 2009

The past couple of weeks it's been gradually getting a little colder each day. Finally a couple of days ago we had our first real frost. When I look at the extended forecast I see the possibility of snow toward the end of next week. In the evenings the sky has been clear and the moon has been bright as can be. Come on winter, we're ready for ya!

I had that same Moon on my Brookville blog. I thought more people would have them. I like the foreground and can't decide if it is a roof or the side of a building looking up.

I love the contrast between the orange colors of the tree and roof (or siding) against the clouds and moon. Nice shot!

I finally figured out a way to get to your blog with the scary moon above the roof and the crisp air threatening cold and snow!

This would work as a great Halloween photo, too!

Hope you weekend is going well!

  6. Abe: That's actually the roof of an office building near where we live. The street light's color came out orange on the copper roof and the tree. I thought the color was interesting.

brian stout: take lots of photos at the game.

Small City Scenes: Thank you very much MB.

Debra: Again, amateur luck but thank you.

Jacob: Yeah, you're right. This would have worked for Halloween. We're having a great weekend so far thank you. I hope your not stressing too much from the move.
