As hard as I tried, I couldn't get a single sky shot to come out today. All I could get was the same shade of gray everywhere I looked. What to do?? Dig back about two weeks and show you a sunset that just made you pull over and watch. This SkyWatch Friday photo was taken just slightly north of Olympia near Nisqually. I think my hubby saw the same sunset as this. Two weeks ago he was in Anacortes and took shots of the most fiery skies I've ever seen - just like these. Nice alternative to gray skies!

OH MY GOSH! I am STOKED to have found your site! I have been following the Boise Daily Photo blog for awhile...and do not even remember how I found her. It just occurred to me to look for an Olympia blog...and here you are! My husband and I lived there, got married there, went to school there, had our first child there...and sadly...left over 10 years ago. WE miss it like crazy....
