After last night's post I figured some of you thought you were visiting the seedy part of Olympia. Oh contrare! If you put your back to "animal alley" and look across the street you'll see The Washington Center for the Performing Arts. This wonderful facility hosts numerous events throughout the year. For a more detailed description click here.
This is our first blog, a daily (whenever possible) photo blog of our state capitol and surrounding area. Most photos were taken by me, however my wife will sneak one in from time to time.
Neat! It's as inviting as the alley!
there are many different kinds of arts! nice shot!
I looked at their website. What a great place!
Hello I really like your blog, I would like a link exchange with you,

I find it amazing — and wonderful — that this elegant building stands across yesterday's funky, colorful alley!
Very posh. I love the contrasts and city has. Olympia is a beautiful city. Of course being our state capital helps. MB MB
This really is a wonderful place, and the difference between that alley and this building are typical of the downtown area. Fun place to walk.
Hilda: Funky is the perfect word for it.
Marco: Thank you for stopping by.
MB: I think being the capital city definitely adds to the interesting mix we have here.
Looks very a very modern and inviting building.
What a difference 180 degrees makes.
