Lily

Some time back my wife and I took a drive up to Pt Defiance Park in Tacoma. The gardens there are beautiful and well kept. They are filled with roses, dahlias, hydrangea and much more. You might remember this previous post from there. As much as I love posting my photos, tonight I have to give the credit to my wife for capturing this lily.

    Pink perfection. Thank you!

About Paul Bunyan, the one I photographed is the only one I've seen. He's stupdendous!

Your wife did a great job! That's a lovely color.

Kudos to Krise! Color perfect and sharp as a tack. Can't do it better than that!

The flower is gorgous, and beaufifully in focus :) I love that park and also the one in the middle of Tacoma, whose name I don't remember with the nice hothouse. I'm sure I confuse Tacoma subjects with Olympia. I'll have to stop in and explore Olympia sometime.

  5. Beautiful capture. And look how many there are. I wish my gardens could/would look like a park. I suppose if I spent a zillion hours in it it just might.

I have another blog called 'Holy Houses' and the churches that I have taken from Skagit Valley are in a similar vein. Mostly Scandanavian influence. MB

  6. Oh to have a bunch of those!

Gorgeous shot! I bet it smells heavenly, too.

  8. She's trying to be modest and say that this shot isn't all that good. I like it though, and yes they did smell veeerrrrry good.
