Fountain and Youth

Saturday, August 22, 2009
This evening we headed to downtown Olympia to check out an event that will be the subject of tomorrow's post. On the way back to the car we spotted this kid zig-zagging his way through the gauntlet of water jets at the Heritage Park Fountain.

  1. Oh my, this is a perfect shot in all respects. The background, the movement, the colours! Wonderful! I think I'm going to have a shower, it's hot!

Fabulous night shot -- they're always so tricky!

Sometimes the best photos come from being at the right place at the right time, a serendipitous moment! This looks to be one of those.

    It's just wonderful!

What a "cool" shot - it looks cold, actually, and I love the way the guy is moving through the water! Excellent!!! As to the purple and green house. There are so many things to photograph here, but I'll try to get a shot for you of the whole place. I may have to get up early for the right lighting :)

Great photo! Thanks for getting it to share with us.

  10. Thank you all.
That fountain is a popular place to go cool off on a hot day. We usually don't see fully dressed people running through there at night. It was cool to see him going for it.

It is a very nice shot and the man looks to be dancing through the water jets.

  12. I always wanted to do something like that --not nervy enough. Great shot though. MB
