My wife and I both work on Saturdays. Today when we came home our daughter asked if we could all go on a bike ride. No problem we said. Earlier this summer my wife got a new set of wheels. A couple of months ago she ordered a sturdy basket so that our French Bulldog Otis could go with us. We loaded up the bikes, kids and the dog and headed for the Chehalis Western Trail. We put Otis in the basket and secured him in place just in case he decided to jump out. My wife took off and it didn't take long before he looked like Joe Cool, cruising down the trail with the wind blowing through his wrinkles. After putting on a few miles we headed back for the truck. We lifted him out of the basket and set him down. You should have seen him strutting around. Boy was he proud of himself. It was pretty darned cute.

OMG Otis is adorable in that basket!! Otis around here is a stray black cat that I haven't seen in a while. Love this capture, with the bicycle wheel!
re: your comment. I try to refrain from red and blue comparisons, don't want to rile up my right-wing looney friends un-necessarily =) my verification word on here is 'lia-bible' oh my!
;-))) Gosh, what a nice composition in this photograph, and I am shore Otis enjoyed the ride! :-)
Hello, Otis! So nice to meet you!
He's adorable! He looks like a stuffed toy in this photo :D

He he I've got a broad smile here!
OMG, that is the cutest thing that I've seen today. Wonderful picture. :-)
this is awesome. so cure. he hardly looks real. This photo makes Otis look like a cross between a gremlin and Yoda except with more pounds. What a fun day and fun photo.
Otis passes along his thanks to all of you. I'd say you're giving him a big head, but look at the photo. His head's already huge!
brian: I guess you do have to watch it down there in "W" country don't you?
Hilda: Stuffed is right. He's pretty buff!
Gunn: Thank you, and boy did he.
Small City, Jacob, ciel & James: I'm glad it put a smile on your face. He really is a neat little guy.
Julie: We get everything from Yoda to Gremlins, to Stitch. We couldn't believe the one person that came up and asked if he was some kind of cat!! You should have seen the look on his face then.
What a cute photo. This dog is all wrinkles, eyes, and ears!
Oh my gosh, how cute is Otis! That is an adorable shot. I got a little confused because the title of your post is the same as Gliwice Daily Photo and they were one right after the other on my dashboard (even though they are dated a day apart, it looks like they must have posted around the same time because of the difference in time zones).
Hello Otis, looking good in that basket!
Lois: That had you scratching your head didn't it?
tapirgal: It's all part of his studliness.
Steffe: He's winkin' back at ya.
Otis is one good looking guy. I bet he did enjoy that bike trip and had reason to strut his stuff. Nice shot.
great shot.
