This evening I took my wife out to dinner for Valentine's Day. Tomorrow I'll show you where we went. After we had eaten and were heading back to the car we couldn't help but enjoy this sight. The street lights and traffic lights reflecting off the wet sidewalk really caught our eye. Looking down the street on the right you may recognize the lighted awning of The Performing Arts Center which I showed you back in August.
Here's wishing everyone a Happy Valentine's Day and a wonderful weekend.

Rain at night always makes thing sparkle! Nice!
Wishing you and Krise Happy Valentine's Day!!
You're right — the light is so pretty! Everything looks so clean too.
Happy Valentine's Day to you and Krise!
A super night shot, Don! One of the things all the photo books talk about is shooting wet streets and sidewalks after a rain.
You took their advice to heart and came up with a perfect example!
Now, I shall look forward to tomorrow's post.
And a Happy Valentine's Day to you two, too!
Ah, the typical wet sidewalk of the NW! Nice shot - love the reflection of the lights, and the light flares - such warm tones throughout. Nice reflection shot!!
I just love th look of lights reflecting on a wet sidewalk at night. This is an excellent picture.
Beautiful night photo, and I like the light reflecting on the ground too! Happy valentines day!
ooohhh I like this one. Great reflections and the lighting is so nicely done.
Thanks everyone. We love walking the downtown area, day or night. The evening does give it a certain atmosphere though.
Oh what a beautiful shot!
Great colors and great shot. Really made it by getting down low for the angle.
