Several days ago I posted
this photo. Well, everything came together last week and
Capital Lakefair started Wednesday July 15th. Due to work and other things we didn't make it there until Saturday afternoon. We managed to see about half of the parade then made our way to where the action was. Lots of rides, lots of food, lots of people. That pretty much describes what was going on. I'll post more photos over the next couple of days to give you a better idea of what all was there.

Exciting photo for everyone but me--I suffer mightily from motion sickness.
Love the dynamic look of the blog, love it!
What a super shot. How did you get underneath to capture this? Stanwood fair is July 31st through August 2nd. I am going to try for some different shots. MB
PS. I sent you an email about your Aunt. MB
Ooh, that ride looks like so much fun! Did you try it?
Looking forward to the rest of your fair photos!
That's a dramatic action shot with superb color! Looks like a lot of fun, but I stay off the rides. I'd rather take photos than get sick!
That is a fantastic shot, but I too suffer from motion sickness so I would have to sit and watch! Looks like you had fabulous weather for the fair.
Thanks everyone. No, we didn't go on any rides. We took our two dogs plus one we were watching for a friend. Plus, I have to admit some of the rides get to me too. I'd be the same shade of green as in the photo. ;-(
MB: Got it and replied. Thank you very much!
That's really pretty. I've never seen one of these that was so attractive, with the flags and all. I guess it's the updated hang-gliding look. I'm looking forward to more.
