What? Another fountain after last night's post? I didn't think you'd mind. Here we are in the Capitol city of Olympia and I haven't really posted much from the Capitol Campus. Tonight after dinner I took a drive there. As you can see the sun was starting to set so I tried to fit in as many shots as I could. This beautiful fountain is a replica of "
The Tivoli Fountain" in Tivoli Park in Copenhagen Denmark. It was presented to The State of Washington by The Olympia-Tumwater Foundation in 1953 by then foundation President Peter G. Schmidt. The fountain is surrounded by benches and grass. It is a popular place this time of year for people in the area to take their lunch.

Perfect symmetry, in perfect twilight.
I love Olympia! I have only been there twice but love it!
Very pretty shot with the sunset behind it! You can never post too many pictures of fountains.
This is beautiful, nice shot! Loving the look of the new page too!
Thank you. I could walk around the Capitol Campus for hours. So much to photograph.
Shadow: Thanks, I appreciate it.
You sure got there at just the right time! This is a gorgeous photograph - light and color and water...very well done!
This is a beautiful fountain and perfect timing. It's too bad about that fence - I can imagine jumping into this one!
Jacob: As you can see, I was running out of time quickly. Thank you.
tapirgal: As warm as it was up here this afternoon, it would have felt pretty good!
